Nehanda Heritage Giving honours the legacy of Mbuya Nehanda — channelling impact funding into Zimbabwean education, health, conservation and heritage programmes, governed and reported with institutional rigour.
Our purpose
Mbuya Nehanda Charwe Nyakasikana stood at the centre of the first chimurenga — a spiritual leader who gave her life insisting that the land, and the people who belong to it, must endure. We carry that name with reverence.
Nehanda Heritage Giving exists to put resources where they are most needed: in classrooms without books, clinics without medicine, corridors without rangers, and monuments without keepers. Community first, always.
This is a community trust. Contributions are impact giving. No investor interests, no returns, no equity — only the dignity of giving and the accountability of reporting.

In the communal schools of Mashonaland Central, a blackboard and a textbook are still luxuries. The Rural Schools Endowment delivers textbooks, laboratory equipment and teacher-development bursaries to 1,200 pupils who would otherwise sit through lessons bare-handed. Every child deserves to hold the tools of knowledge.
Six wards, one shared clinic, and medicines running short by the third week of every month. The Community Clinic Fund replenishes essential medicines, diagnostic kits and community-health-worker stipends for 4,500 people living days from the nearest hospital.
The elephant corridors that once stretched freely between Hwange and the Botswana border have shrunk with every decade. Our corridor programme funds anti-poaching patrols, wildlife-corridor mapping and community ranger training — putting local people at the heart of conservation, not as bystanders to it.
The dry-stone walls of Great Zimbabwe are the oldest standing architecture in sub-Saharan Africa — and among the least-funded heritage sites on the continent. We support conservation surveys, interpretive signage and local-guide training so the monument can speak for itself, in its own language, to its own people.

Transparency & governance
An independent trust oversight committee — comprising civil society, legal and financial representatives — reviews all disbursements quarterly and publishes outcome reports annually.
Trust assets are held in accounts entirely separate from Sable Bridge commercial capital. No blending of investment and giving funds — ever. The giving is its own ring.
All funded programmes receive disbursements tied to milestones, with mandatory impact reporting. Continued funding is contingent on reporting compliance and measurable outcome delivery.

Nehanda Heritage Giving is a community trust, not a collective investment scheme or financial product. Contributions are charitable giving directed to identified community programmes. Contributors do not acquire any interest, return, equity or financial claim. This channel and its content do not constitute an offer, solicitation or advice in respect of any investment.
